The largest of the palazzo, with a private terrace

It takes its name from the cummerse, the pitched-stone-roof houses typical of Alberobello. Today it is the largest room of the palazzo: 45 square metres on the top floor, served by a lift, with a private terrace looking onto the trulli.

Inside, bare stone vaults and large windows hold the light all day. The suite is made up of a double bedroom and a lounge, and it is meant for two guests. The fitted kitchen can be used on request, with a €15 cleaning fee per day.

The terrace is the only private outdoor space of the house up high: a table, the rooftops of the town, the cones of the trulli. In the evening you come back up by lift — and the restaurant, with live music every night, is on the ground floor.
