The glass bed, under stone vaults

A stone structure with cross vaults, and inside it the most contemporary piece of the house: a custom-made glass bed resting on rocks, with built-in lights. Sixteen square metres where the design outweighs the size.

The effect is one of suspension: the bed seems to float between stone and light. Around it, nineteenth-century furniture and clean, essential lines. The bathroom is finished in golden resin, with a washbasin carved from local limestone.

From here you step into the garden: small, just two tables, shared only with the Suite Trullo. It is the room for those who choose the design over the square metres — and in fact it is the most booked room of the house.
