Five rooms in a 19th-century palazzo and four in our Widespread Collection, a short walk away, in the centre of Alberobello. By day, the trulli and the Itria Valley. In the evening, NOS, the restaurant on the ground floor of the palazzo, with live piano on the evenings it is open. Among the rooms, a real trullo in the palazzo garden.

Days around Alberobello

Alberobello is seen on foot, and once the coaches have left in the evening, the town belongs to those who sleep here. One day for Alberobello. One for the hilltowns of the Itria Valley: Locorotondo at 9 km, Martina Franca at 13, Cisternino at 18. One for the sea at Monopoli, 23-26 km away. Each is a day trip.

Alberobello, in past years

In past years Alberobello stayed lit from early December to the Epiphany. The old districts of Rione Monti and Aia Piccola are a few minutes’ walk from the palazzo.

  • A Christmas village with an ice rink in Piazza del Popolo, from early December to 6 January.
  • The LIFE light festival, every evening from sunset, from 6 December to 6 January.
  • The Presepe di Luce, a nativity scene made of light, from sunset until early February.
  • A living nativity in the Aia Piccola district, from 26 to 29 December.

Nine rooms, no two alike

Five rooms in the palazzo (guests aged 18 and over)

Four in the Widespread Collection, 40-150 metres from the palazzo as the crow flies, one or two minutes on foot. Check-in, breakfast and reception are at the palazzo for everyone.

Evenings and mornings

On the ground floor of the palazzo is NOS, our restaurant, with live piano on the evenings it is open. In the morning, breakfast is served by NOS, from 8:00 to 10:30.

From Bari or Brindisi, about an hour

Bari airport is about 55 km away and Brindisi about 70. Alberobello station is a ten-minute walk from the palazzo. Check-in 15:00-23:00, check-out by 11:00. If you arrive later, let us know and we will send you the instructions to get in.

Three nights at the end of December

Arrive on 28 or 29 December and stay at least three nights in the palazzo: you pay the rate of the day, and on your departure day the room is yours until 13:00, when no new guest arrives that day. Breakfast served by NOS from 8:00 to 10:30. Book on the official site.

Booking direct with us

Questions

At Palazzo Scotto, from 28 December to 3 January: nine rooms, five in the palazzo, in the centre of town, and four in the Widespread Collection, 40-150 metres away. The booking engine shows which nights are free. Check-in from 15:00, check-out by 11:00.

Yes. The Suite Trullo is a real trullo in the palazzo garden, for adults only. The Trullo Maestro, in the Widespread Collection 40 metres from the palazzo, is a whole trullo on two levels, and children are welcome there.

About an hour by car: Bari airport is 55 km away, Brindisi 70. On request, we arrange an airport transfer by private driver, priced by destination. By train, Alberobello station is a ten-minute walk from the palazzo.

The palazzo is not in a restricted traffic zone, but there is no stopping on our street: pull up in Piazza Curri, round the corner, and unload the luggage. Then the Marinelli garage (we book it for you), free parking at Largo Italo Svevo, about 400 metres away, or paid street parking.

The palazzo rooms are for guests aged 18 and over only. In the Widespread Collection, children are welcome, and a cot is available on request, with a supplement.
